Honor Choir
Introducing the PES Dragon Choir!
The PES Dragon Choir is an ensemble dedicated to fostering a love for music and performance among students at our school. Members of the Dragon Choir are entrusted with:
- Participating in rehearsals and performances with dedication and enthusiasm
- Maintaining passing grades in all subjects
- Exhibiting leadership qualities and exemplary behavior
- Attending choir practice promptly and prepared to engage
- Possibly featured on PES social media platforms in images or videos showcasing choir activities (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc.)
As members of the Dragon Choir, students can explore various roles including:
- Vocalists showcasing their talents as soloists or part of the ensemble
- Assisting with organizing choir events and performances
- Contributing creative ideas to enhance choir experiences

News Crew
The PES News Crew is responsible for writing, editing, recording, and producing the daily video announcements. News Crew participants are expected to:
- Maintain passing grades in all subjects
- Be a school leader and set a good example for others with your behavior
- Be in the library no later than 8:00 a.m. each day to work on the announcement videos
- Potentially appear on PES social media sites in pictures or videos as part of the news crew (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc)
Student members of the News Crew have several roles, including:
- On-camera reporter/anchor
- Video editing on WeVideo
- Off-camera roles such as director, lighting, production, and photography

Student Council
The PES Student Council is made up of two 4th and 5th-grade students from each homeroom. Student Council promotes leadership and a strong community on our campus through projects and activities. Student Council members are expected to:
- Maintain As and Bs in all subjects
- Be a school leader and set a good example for others with your behavior
- Attend monthly membership meetings in the library at 7:45 or as necessary
- Participate in Student Council projects and activities such as family nights, fundraisers, community service, etc.
Students interested in Student Council will complete a nomination form at the beginning of each school year. Classroom teachers will provide input for student qualifications. Then, students are elected by their grade-level peers. For more information, please contact Angela Proske.
